Exploring Black Representation in Castlevania: Nocturne’s Second Season and its Cultural Impact

A survey revealed that video games may not be as detrimental as they were thought to be, considering the fact that they instigated people to participate in real-life sports. According to a study conducted on 2,000 people aged three to 34 nearly a quarter (23 percent) of those who play sports-related video games said that this activity has motivated them to try a real-life sport.

Almost 90 percent of sports gamers said that they play real-life sports while 87 percent noted that playing these games has boosted their interest in watching live matches.

Nearly 75 percent (74 percent) claimed that the games enhanced their knowledge of the rules of the sports they picked.

The most played sports were football basketball and American football.

As per the report, simulation games like FIFA were almost twice as preferred over fantasy league games.
These types of games were acknowledged as the leading factor that spurs players to commence participating in active sports for the first time.
Max Proctor, CEO of The Gang, the game studio which initiated this research, commented: "Sports teams are always trying to figure out ways to attract younger fans to their events."

Our research shows that gaming is a fine way to hook the coming crop of fans and turn them into future players, followers, attendees, and customers.

It's nice to see that even folks who aren't gamers know how sports video games can build a good vibe for real-life sports fandom.

Alexandra Willis, who heads digital and fan engagement at the Premier League, says: "There is evidence to show that gaming is rising in popularity among younger fans, but it has often been hard to prove if this interest converts into involvement in other aspects of fandom."

Results from The Gang back up our thinking that the audiences we reach through gaming are far more likely to understand, take an interest in, and consume Premier League content as a whole, indicating they could become loyal fans of our clubs and broadcasters over time.
Savanta carried out a poll which had an equal number of British respondents and American respondents. 50% of the total respondents were British and 50% were American.

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club is working to harness the power of video games to attract young people into the sport.
He said: "There are many ways to play golf and our aim is to make the game's inclusivity, accessibility and attractiveness a little better. Just Swing is getting nice responses from players who want to play real golf."

We expect that it will attract more young people to find out about the benefits that golf can bring.
