ATLANTA -- Oded Golan, a long-time dealer in Israeli antiques, has displayed 350 of his most important artifacts from the Holy Land at Pullman Yards in Atlanta, where they will remain until the end of February.

Golan is a 73-year-old businessman who has a proven track record of launching many enterprises. He owns one of the largest collections of Biblical-era antiquities in the world, and this vast asse͏rt has been built over more than fifty years primarily from different dealers. He chose to exhibit important pieces from his collection in the United States, establishing Atlanta as the first venue for "Discovering the World of Jesus." Tickets for adults are available starting at $27 for visit days from Tuesday to Sunday.

In an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Golan said, "Most of the things I’ve brought to Atlanta are being shown here for the first time outside Israel. I think Atlanta is a great place to show antiquities from the time of Christ because of its demographics. This area is called the Bible Belt, and there is much interest in history, faith, and archaeology."

It includes cookware, vases, jewelry, religious artifacts, keys, toys, and military equipment all from the first century A.D.
