JAKARTA, Indonesia, Jan. 25, Jan. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (IDX: BBRI) is holding the 6th series of BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025, formerly called UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR, as a form of BRI commitment to continue supporting the development of Indonesian MSMEs and increasing their opportunities in the global market.

Scheduled for January 30 to February 2, 2025, the event will be held at ICE BSD City Nusantara with "Broadening MSME's Global Outreach" as the theme, reflecting BRI's strategic steps in enhancing MSMEs competitiveness alongside new business opportunities abroad. This was revealed in a press conference for BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025 held in Jakarta on January 24, attended by several important figures, including BRI's Commercial, Small, and Medium Business Director Amam Sukriyanto; BRI Micro Business Director Supari; BRI Retail Funding and Distribution Director Andrijanto; Interior Designer and Curator Diana Nazir; Dimas Wibisono, Managing Director of Djalin Design, for MSMEs.

The response from Indonesian MSMEs applies to BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025. Overwhelmingly, 3,006 applicants have responded which will be filtered down to 1,000 outstanding MSMEs from five categories—Home Décor & Craft, Food & Beverage, Accessories & Beauty, Fashion & Wastra and Healthcare & Wellness. Other events included in BRI UMKM EXPO(RT) 2025 are MSME Expos, Partner Gathering, Talk Show, Workshop and Competition. These are the Indonesia Barista Championship and the Indonesia Brewers Cup Championship organized under SCAI.

In the event, BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025 will be held, which theme 'Empowering the People's Economy: A Pillar for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth' entitled. This international seminar will be held with more than a variety of speakers coming from experts, professionals, and government representatives.

The BRI Microfinance Outlook 2025 will feature a lineup of spea kers distinguished in both domestic and international spheres. Among them are Sri Mulyani, Minister of Finance of Indonesia; Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of National Development Planning; and Albert Francis Park, Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank. Strategy insights for improving financial inclusion will come from Economics Nobel laureate Paul Romer and Harsha Rodrigues, Head of Regional Client Services at Women's World Banking.

The BRI Microfinance Outlook event, showcasing outstanding MSME products and strategic discussions, is expected to contribute significantly toward fostering a people-centered economy alongside diverse sustainable economic development.
